The patriot that Mahi is!

MS Dhoni is a phenomenal cricketer that has brought victory to our nation by leading our Indian Cricket Team. Under his captaincy, the country has won, the ICC World Cup 2011. The determination behind every finishing six, by our very own captain cool M S Dhoni, is of course his patriotism and love for our country! 

Here are few quotes by Mahi, that show us what a patriot he is!

1)  When his daughter Ziva was born, Dhoni was caught up in the 2015 World Cup tournament. He refused to take off to see his daughter and said "I am on national duty, everything else can wait"

2) In one of his interviews, he said "I tell my wife she is the third most important thing after my country and my parents"

3) In 2011, The Indian Territorial Army conferred the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Dhoni on 1 November 2011. He is the second Indian cricketer after Kapil Dev to receive this honour. The following year, he visited the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir to interact with our country's soldiers,
