CSK is more of an emotion than just a cricket team. Most Chennai people have a connect with Dhoni and have named him Thala. It was quite disappointing when CSK was banned to play at IPL in 2016 and 2017. The audience count has drastically reduced over the last two years as most people refused to watch IPL, without CSK. A hashtag that said #noCSKnoIPL was also trending on social media. Every time during an IPL match having CSK playing against any team, the percentage of CSK fans, depicted graphically on an Indian map is unfathomable.  Now that CSK is back in IPL 2018, India is getting all "CSK-ready".
